The Chinese Embassy in Vanuatu held a pre trip exchange meeting for Vanuatu students studying in China under the Chinese Government Scholarship

On August 26, 2024, the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Vanuatu held a pre trip exchange meeting for Chinese government scholarship students studying in China for the 2024/25 academic year. About 50 people attended, including Kaltao, Director of the Higher Education Bureau of the Ministry of Education of Vanuatu, Alan Bang, Chairman of the Vanuatu National Scholarship Board, scholarship recipients, representatives of the Vanuatu Chinese Alumni Association, and local mainstream media reporters.

Gu Zihua's interim office congratulated the scholarship recipients, stating that the current development of China Vanuatu relations is good, and educational cooperation is one of the important achievements of Prime Minister Salvi's visit to China. It is hoped that the students present in China will work hard to learn, achieve personal value enhancement, serve the development of Vanuatu, and become inheritors of China Vanuatu friendship.

Kaltao sincerely thanks China for its long-term support to the education industry in Vanuatu, and expresses that the Vanuatu Ministry of Education will continue to closely cooperate with China to promote more fruitful cooperation in education between China and Vanuatu.
